Fishing Report as of June 20, 2015

Hi from the beautiful Northwoods ~

Fishing continues to be really good this year!  It started out gangbusters with some awesome walleyes.  Happy to say, most of those beauties were returned to the waters for the enjoyment of not only of the fish but for your enjoyment!!!

We are continuing to see some nice walleyes including those caught at night, nice large and small-mouth bass, and some really nice bluegills and crappies.  Of course, there are other species being caught, but these seem to be the most caught right now.  Walleyes are especially being caught on jigs with leeches.  I’ve heard of a variety of live and artificial baits for the bass and panfish.  Wigglers are always a favorite of perch and bluegills.

Come on up and try your hand at fishing the Cisco Chain.  We have openings coming up from June 27 to July 18 as well as starting August 1 and on again.  Just give us a call at 906-358-4390 if we can help or if you have any questions.

Thanks much.  We hope to see you soon!

Carole
