Hi Everyone ~
It’s been a cold one for all of us…here and where you are! Our snowmobilers who have been here with us this past week and a half or so have all given us reports of “awesome trails”, “the best trails in years”, and more. Whatever Mother Nature has given us to this point has helped to make our trails the fun ones they are.
U. P. Thunder Riders have finally updated their trail report. They are only reporting trails in good shape as follows:
- Trail Condition: Good
- Last Groomed: January 29th, 2019
- Base Snowfall: 16″
- Reported On: January 30th, 2019 @ 7:36am
Groomer Report
We will not be grooming Wednesday Jan 30 due to extreme weather. Daily grooming will resume Jan 31. Trails are in good condition we do have a few thin areas and icy corners
Trail 2 west of Watersmeet – Good condition
Trail 2 east of Watersmeet- Good condition, a few thin areas
Trail 13 south to Cisco Chain- Good condition
Trail 3 south to Land O’Lakes- good/fair condition. There is lots of traffic on this trail 100+ sleds are passing the groomer. It’s very hard to keep smooth, use caution on bridge approaches
Trail 3 north to Paulding/Bond Falls/Bruce Crossing- Good condition, thin icy corners
This report isn’t nearly as exciting as our sledders reports, but I do know that everyone we talked to really enjoyed all the trails. If you’re thinking about a snowmobile trip, we invite you to come on up and see for yourself what the beautiful U. P. here has to offer. We have openings coming up, and there’s plenty of time in great snow for lots of sledding yet. Call us at 906-358-4390 or cell/text 715-360-6650. Thanks so much. We hope to see you soon.
