Winter Sports Update as of March 17, 2015

Warm temperatures have really taken a toll on the snowmobile and ski trails here.  The trails in the woods are still good in some places but getting to them is another story.  Basically the season is over.  Even when we get snow (and we certainly will), it likely will be too late.  Rivers and streams are opening up and safety would be an issue.

The game fishing season is now over, but panfishing is still doing well.  With the cold night last night however, all the lakes we looked at today looked like ice rinks!  If you come up to fish, please wear ice cleats on your boots.  We don’t want anyone getting hurt out there, and it’s glare ice until we get some snow again.

Super discount rates are in effect now until May 16.  We have openings right along and would love to help you plan a trip up our way now or any time!  Just give us a call at 906-358-4390 or call or text my cell at 715-360-6650, and we’ll be happy to help.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day and Happy Spring!

Carole and Denver
