Trips and Things to Do at The Arrows

We are located about 11 miles from the Watersmeet and about 13 miles from Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin and just four miles over the Wisconsin border.  Boulder Junction is also a short ride.

There’s a bar and restaurant on Cisco Lake serving daily, including weekly specials.  Another unique bar and restaurant on Mamie Lake serves great lunches and dinners, salads, sandwiches, homemade pizza and Friday fish fries.  Breakfast served seasonally.

Watersmeet Michigan has a cafe right in town.  The Lac Vieux Desert Casino has a restaurant with super buffets, a full menu, and a snack bar (open late).

Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin has cafes, ice cream shops, and numerous great restaurants.  We feel fortunate to have such good restaurants in our area. Give the cook a break!  Just ask us for suggestions.

Don’t forget your camera and binoculars, and comfortable hiking or walking shoes. Everyone dresses casually here in the northwoods. Kick back and relax!

The Land O’ Lakes trail is also blacktopped but the part on the east side is not.  Other improvements are in the works as grants and other funds are available.

Wilderness Lakes Trails Bike and Hike Trail – This trail includes both of the above trails and is now 62 miles around.  New trail will be completed on Thousand Island Lake Road in August of 2016.  This will be a big improvement for biking here on the chain.
